Issue:
The LavaPCIe.zip file is configured for our current production version of the PCIe cards. For older cards a different driver may be required.
Cause:
A hardware change required a modification of the PCIe header which allows Windows to uniquely identify every card. Therefore the initial version of our PCIe cards requires a slightly different driver set.
Resolution:
To verify the version of card you have:
1. Go to the Device Manager, Right Click on the PCIe Port and select Properties.
2. Select the Details tab
3. Select the Hardware IDs from the drop down list box.
The field below the drop down list box will display the Hardware IDs for the PCIe card. All of our newer cards will start with an identifier of [PCI\VEN_9710&DEV …].
If your card displaying itself as [PCI\VEN_1407&DEV ...] then it’s an older card and just requires the original driver. [link: PCIe_v1_00_00.zip]
