Microsoft support for USB 2.0 only exists from Windows 2000 onwards (i.e. Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7, etc).

At present, Microsoft has no USB 2.0 support in Windows 95, Windows 98SE, Windows ME, and Windows NT 4.0.
